The Humphrey Field Analyser is a visual field test that measures how far the eye sees in any direction, without moving, and how sensitive the vision is in different parts of the eye.
It is painless, straightforward and does not involve any eye drops ahead of the test.
The Humphrey Field Analyser can be used for screening, monitoring, and assisting in the diagnosis of certain conditions, giving valuable information about your eye condition.
The patient is given a response button and clicks every time they see a flash of light within the bowl, whilst looking straight ahead at a central target.
It can help monitor your treatment by plotting any change in the visual field between visits.
